Kilimanjaro

Other people take on mountains. 
I can barely conquer my local park. 
For heaven’s sake, 
Who thought to put it on a hillside? 
The angle of the right-side slope 
Burns my lungs 
And makes my calves scream 
For relief from the pain. 
This might be just a park to you, 
But for me 
This is Kilimanjaro.
